General Food Security Authority (GFSA) represented by the National Program for Reducing Food Loss and Waste signed today a joint cooperation agreement with the Modern Mills Company under the patronage of His Excellency the Governor of GFSA Eng. Ahmad A. Al-Fares.
The agreement aims to enhance cooperation in the field of food loss and waste reduction and awareness, which is within the framework of building partnerships with the food sector in order to contribute to the achievement of the program’s objectives, raise awareness of the optimal and efficient use of food resources, cooperate in marketing campaigns as well as hold scientific seminars and workshops.
The signing ceremony took place in the Authority’s headquarter in Riyadh between GFSA’s Deputy Governor for Grains and General Supervisor of the Food Security Strategy, Mr. Mohammed I. Al-Fawzan and CEO of the Modern Mills Company Mr. Osama H. Ashi.
